Interdisciplinary Conference in Marburg

The Chairs of Economics and Social Policy, Sociology and Empirical Social Research (Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU)) and Economic Geography and Location Research (Philipps-Universität Marburg), are very pleased to announce their joint interdisciplinary conference, which will take place in Marburg in March 2018. The conference is organised within a corresponding research project financed by the Volkwagen foundation.

The conference aims to bring together researchers from various academic fields to present and discuss their current empirical and theoretical research regarding regional inequalities. Papers on the patterns, causes, effects and policy aspects of regional inequality are welcome to the conference. The conference will also contain a part with interaction with policy makers.
